Out of Thin Air, and Usually Forgotten…The Standing rigging!

Even if there is no halyard to replace, no VHF antenna to inspect, and no anchor light to upgrade to LED, it’s always wise to go up and inspect the rig, cap shrouds, diagonals, headstays, backstays, bob stays, inner forestays, turnbuckles and spreaders. We perform these operations flawlessly by sending Al Lizza up there!
We recommend replacing the standing rigging every ten years. We can even modernize your sailboat by replacing metal cables with lighter synthetic material such as Dynema. In this case, we advise unstepping the mast for the winter.
